PCAIT’s aims and objectives as enshrined in its Constitution:

The general aims and objectives of the society are to promote and protect the interests of members who may be suppliers, dealers, traders, exporters and importers dealing in all kinds of Information Technology Products/Services, its parts, peripherals, media products and consumables including those to be used for computers, word processors and business machines, to take all the necessary steps for protection and promotion of Information Technology, to promote honourable practices and prevent and suppress malpractices in the trade and to guide and decide on the usage of or the custom for conducting the business of manufacturing, import, export and sale of computers, its parts, media products and consumables, of all grades and kinds and descriptions and to acquire, undertake/amalgamate all or any part of the assets and liabilities of any society or association either registered or unregistered having objects, altogether or in part similar to those of this society.

Following are  the explicit  aims and objects of   the Society:

To bring the IT Community under a single platform.
To interface with other associations.
To settle disputes among Members if any.
To promote ethical, legal business practices.
To work for the betterment of the Members and their businesses.
To organise Seminars, Workshops and Trade Shows for the growth of the IT Industry.
To conduct Events and Celebrations.
To interface with Government Bodies.
To have an IT Plaza.
To interface with NGOs, Charitable Organizations, Societies etc. to promote and support IT literacy and dissemination.
To support any Person, NGOs, Charitable Organizations, Societies etc. in need of emergency help and to promote social cause as per needs and circumstances.
To evolve, articulate and implement appropriate guide lines/standards on various aspects of the IT Industry.
